Pakistani Cricketers Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt banned for 5, 7 and 10 Years respectively by ICC



In a latest blow to the Pakistani team before the world cup ex-captain Salman butt along with his two other teammates Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif has been banned from International cricket by ICC. These players were accused of spot fixing. They were allegedly involved in throwing paid 'no-balls' in a match against England.


Salman butt has been banned for 10 years. His career is almost finished with this decision of ICC. He is currently 27 year old. There were sympathy for the young player Mohammad Amir from all around the world. But ICC has taken a strong decision for clean cricket. This is going to impact the performance of pakistani team in the world cup which is about to start in next two weeks.

Pakistan cricket board(PCB) is yet to respond.
