Free Windows 7 download extended by microsoft

Good News !!! :)

Microsoft has decided to extend the free download of windows 7 enterprise edition for an additional four month. These free copies are meant for evaluation purpose with a trial period of 90 days.

Dates have been extended for the second time. First it was set to be closed on 31st March then 31st of december and now it has been extended up to 29th of April. Its a good news for those who haven't tried it yet.

However, the 90 day trial will be offered in limited time and quantity. So if the supplies last you won't be able to get it. The download will be available till 29th of April, 2011.

Downloads are available free of charge in both 32 and 64 bit of enterprise edition.

Minimum System Requirements are :
1) 1 GHz or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
2) 1 GB RAM for 32 bit edition or 2 GB RAM for 64 bit edition
3) 16 GB available disk space for 32-bit edition or 20 GB for 64-bit
4) DirectX 9 graphics processor with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
5) DVD-compatible drive
